Despite vast differences in culture, wealth, and environment, both communities fought for the same fundamental purpose: the right of self-determination. Join us for a dynamic program exploring the people, places, and battles that made South Carolina one of the most crucial theaters of the American Revolution.
Food for Thought Lectures are held at the Capt. James Missroon House at 40 East Bay Street, Historic Charleston Foundation's headquarters, in the community room, on the 3rd floor overlooking the High Battery. Each program includes a light lunch to enjoy during the talk. Tickets are required and space is limited.
