South Carolina Historical Society - Fireproof Building

On Saturday, June 27th, the SCHS is honored to host Foundations of a Revolution: South Carolina, 1775–1777. The South Carolina Department of Archives and History will present three pivotal documents that defined South Carolina’s Revolutionary era: the Articles of Association (1775), the South Carolina Constitution of 1776, and the Treaty of Dewitt’s Corner (1777). Historians from SCDAH will be on-site to provide additional historical context.
